I didn't like 2K12 pretty much at all due to the inordinate amount of sliding, which led to unrealistic recovery speeds by the defense, but man this game is awesome.
I played my first game last night after completing the training camp mode and lost to the Bobcats (using the Bulls). I felt like I had control of the game up until Ben Gordon got in.... This nikka came in and absolutely cooked R.I.P. 18 points in the second alone; I benched R.I.P in favor of Hinrich, but it was too late.... Gordon was already feeling himself too much at that point and he had that microwave signature skill going

People always try to define what simulation means to a sports game. I look at it like this: when you can play the exact minutes of the said sport, and get a realistic output in terms of all of the numbers, chances are, you are dealing with game a that is sim.... I played 12 minute quarters against the Bobcats and the pace of the game was damn near perfect.
Another reason why I lost that game was because Rose got tired towards the end of the game. I hadn't yet realize the impact of constantly dribbling had on the stamina. His shot was gone in the 4th quarter due to me dribbling so much with him. I'm about to look into the Bulls playbook and go from there because this game rewards teamwork as oppose to just going one on one constantly.
I'm a
lovely off of 2K13 all year.
