He should have been the #1 overall pick. All around talented wings like him don't come along very often and they are the ones that typically lead teams to championships.

Nobody grows up wanting to be like Paul Pierce.

Its almost like for a young player to be great, they have to grow up idolizing or patterning their game after Kobe.

Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine, Devin Booker, and now Jayson Tatum have all said they grew up idolizing Kobe and patterned their game after him.

All the great young SGs in the NBA grew up wanting to be Kobe. Just like kids in the 90s grew up wanting to be like Mike.

I'm going to hope his PER being on the level of Tony snell rookie season was just tied to how thibs played rookies.

Very interested to see what's up with Markkanen too, can't take too much from summer league but would do wonders in making our future look decent. Got to always remember how snell and mcdermott lit rhe SL up and both played below par in the reg season.
