All of the guys you named are forwards, the Celtics already have Hayward, Tatum and Brown so where would these other picks even play? That is why the Fultz trade didn't make that much sense, it puts them in a position where they will have to pay Thomas and the next draft is forward heavy.
Bamba and Ayton are flat out centers. Bagley probably plays 4/5 in the league. Doncic has PG skills and can be a playmaker/ball handler. Either way, you draft the best talent and worry about everything else later. The Warriors had a bunch of guards when they drafted Steph Curry. Years later when they won the title, Curry was the only one of those guards remaining. If you draft one of those top 5 guys, you build around them with Tatum/Brown and fit the pieces around them. IT, Crowder, Smart, Horford, etc. likely aren't long term pieces anyway.

Without the Fultz trade, we don't have the Lakers/Sac pick (which could end up being a trade chip as well). That pick wasn't just a useless throw in. It could end up being the most valuable piece of that trade

Bamba is a PF and Ayton views himself as the next Dirk. And the decision on Thomas was already made when they traded Fultz, unless you think they will give Rozier, Smart or Jackson the keys.

The Warriors consolidated their talent and made moves to round out their starting 5, they didn't draft Klay with the intentions of bringing him off the bench and Barnes was trash until Kerr got their and started him. Drafting lottery picks and making them play from the bench isn't a great idea and it can hurt their development.
