Well considering that I don't consider D'Angelo to be a point guard - the CP comparison doesn't make much sense - which is why I was strictly referencing points.

CP averaged 19.5 ppg AND 10 assists last season. If D'Angelo can replicate those #s than we can scratch that .5 of a point. :ld:

19/5/6 is his floor. Dude could easily average 22/5/5 though. He scores way to easily and has a legit post game now.

What I liked about what I saw from D-lo today was the control. Looked like he did back at Ohio State. That's one thing I loved about him in college. Never looked rushed. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come

He should. Right now Nance is putting pressure on him by looking like a better and more complete player. His rookie season he didn't even play so this is basically his second year. I thought it was interesting that he said that Luke might try to use him like Kerr uses Dray, but without a jumper or any indicator that he's going to play solid interior D makes that idea iffy to me.
The advantage Ju has over Larry is his ability to create his own shot

Larry looks like an improved player so far but Ju could also be improved as far as we know

And the majority of Draymond's points are assisted and he averaged almost 15 a game this season. So if he had improved his jumper a bit and learns to just play more relaxed he should be fine.

Larry is our future small ball 5 I'm calling it now

You really dont think he could average 19?..i mean he had multiple 20 point games last year playing with kobe, and improved his shot. He scores so easily
He can easily average 20. I'm so impressed on how he create shots from the post, getting to the rim and from the perimeter. It's scary how he can get any shot he wants. Let people sleep breh.

We'll see. He can handle the ball but he can be a black hole, and he doesn't really create his own shot because the defense knows he can't and won't shoot. He ends up bulldozing to the rim after a few pretty crossovers and misses, doesn't even draw the foul. He's a jumper away from being a perennial 16/10 type player, but Nance's improved spot up ability may take him out of the starting lineup (again) going into the regular season.
