This is some sad shyt.
I hate phobias. It's one thing if there is real danger, but being scared just to be scared ain't it. When you are a child you gotta have someone in your life that can help you move forward. My lady is still afraid of snakes and acts a fukking fool if she ever sees one. shyt ain't cute or productive. I made sure that shyt didn't get passed on.
She did try to play the "im scared of spiders" thing. Something she picked up from TV or maybe a book. I told her if it ain't bigger than you then you better not be scared. She saw a little baby one smaller than a shirt button, I told her "

you not leaving this room unless it's dead or you are." I walked out, was closing the door behind me, she stomped it. That's was that.
Kids need to feel safe, invincible, not be scared and have worries.
