not sure who you’re referring to regarding narrative but Iv never shyt on sequels unless it’s the same shyt every time (cod, Sports...halo)

Halo 1,2,3,Reach,4,5 all play very differently from each other. Hard to compare them to sports games.

one of the reasons 4,5 have population retention issues is because of the prometheans in the campaign, narrative choices, and the multiplayer dont play like the series peak of popularity(halo 3)

Back to the thread tho, a lot of these big studios have a side team to handle remakes/remasters. All of the heavy lifting been done already. Dont see how remaking Last of Us will hurt Naughty Dogs development of other games. I aint mad at this news
