I might have it confused with black CARRIBBEANS there. But there is alot of race mixing in the UK.

Why are so many whites and blacks in the UK mixing? Is it the Caribbeans only? If so, why do Caribbeans mix so much? Do they feel a closer bond with Brits because of colonial history? After the London Riots and all and then in the past the Brixton riots,1985 Handsworth riots etc I didn't think that UK was a melting pot.

Going by the figures provided by the study, 48% of Black Caribbean men and 34 per cent of Black Caribbean women are in interracial relationships in contrast to those of Pakistani backgrounds (8% men and 6% women).

That's insane to think that half of all Caribbean men in the UK are with non-black women. I have many relatives in the UK and they say the Africans don't mix much but the Caribbeans mix in huge numbers. Any reason why is that?
