I never understood why people have this notion that black women can't grow hair when I see little black girls all the time with hair down their back before they get the creamy crack.

Because there's way more black female with fukked up hair thanks to perms than there are without it. If y'all hoes will just leave your daughters hair alone, she wouldn't be 25 walking around looking like this

I wish more black women would wear their hair naturally instead of ridiculous weaves or chemicals that hurt the scalp. It starts with the mother though: if the mother isn't teaching her daughter how to take care of her hair, when she gets older the cycle continues sadly. My lil cousin be wearing a weave everywhere, I've seen her without it and you can already see where she's losing hair. Meanwhile her mom never brushed her hair as a child, in fact she'd send her to school looking like Buckwheat. shyt is sad...

Me and my girl already had the hair talk. Thankfully she's natural and she knows if we have a daughter, under no circumstance will chemicals touch her hair. Only fruits and berry's and shyt like Eddie in Coming to America.
