Stallone winning does good for his oscar/golden globe chances. At least in terms of getting a nod. :ehh:

Mad Max was cool but it was NOT better Creed, Straight Outta Compton, or The Martian

It's neck and neck with Creed with me..Creed may have surpassed it by a hair but I think it's stronger than straight outta compton and the martian and i love both of them. It's the one movie this year, that is a singular achievement across the board while also managing to have a lot to say about the world we live in

I guess cause I'm not into those apocalyptic films but Fury Road did nothing for me. the amount of praise I see it getting boggles my mind. But then again, since I'm not a fan of those types of movies I'm sure I'm not giving it a fair shot but I won't be watching again either.:yeshrug:

Are talking about Mad Max: Fury Road? What is it supposed to allegorize? I know that the action genre has been appalling, but it is a good action picture, and that is about it.
