And my thing is this too... why did Nates trainers even have him running 10 miles in the first place?

This wasn’t no marathon... this dude isn’t Floyd or Manny Pacqiauo where they be running 8-10 miles a day and shyt. He wasn’t fighting a legit pro for 12 rounds

Let that man run 5 and get his ass in the RING. Put on the bodypads and get him used to slipping and digging... get him used to clinching and using his body in the clinch.

Let him get used to being walked down and having to throw hooks to the body off the back foot... where was his hooks at all, should’ve been his main weapon

Get him some head gear and get him used to defending (dont even let him throw a punch, just let someone throw at him and he defend himself).

show this man how to fight short... wtf was these dudes trying to do? Get him in “boxing shape” and forget to actually teach him how to box

You're still not understanding.
Being in shape is important, but your technique is your foundation. Some technique, any technique is better than no technique at all.

I do understand, however he wasn't fighting a boxing pro. He was fighting a youtuber who learned enough technique to get by. You saying Nate couldn't learn to fight properly if he applied himself?

:manny: Maybe. Maybe he should have known that applying himself meant more time sparring, more time on fundamentals.

He's the one who went looking for this fight and picked his trainers. He had extra time since this card was delayed by a couple of months. Maybe he needed extra time, or maybe he realized fighting should be taken more seriously.
