Frankie Edgar??? :mindblown:

Conor ducking the weight cut to 145 too because he knows he got a fade coming with Frankie and Aldo again.

Conor wrecked Aldo, Mendes. He went after a title fight against the champ of a higher division and then took a late fight 2 divisions above that. Until now he's been fighting every few months. You're just nitpicking.

I don't know if he can ever get back to 145 after 2 fights at 170 but in the short amount of time and the way he did it I'll never think he took an easy way to the title.

Oh, so you can think of 1 tough fight that he hasn't taken yet though he was open to Edgar at 155 after the champ got hurt and now you want to negate Conor's entire come up. You are hating and would never be pleased. Separate your feelings from your brain and look at it objectively. I hate the Conor nuthuggers but be fair to Conor.

I think Nate still beats him. No chance that he can fix whatever his issues were in mere months. Nate developed his skills in decades.

Mendes fought on 2 weeks notice, I think it'd be a different fight if he had a full training camp.

Conor starched Aldo, no disagreement there, but I think a rematch would go differently. Why not go for it if it's an easy paycheck for him?

Conor said he wanted to be an active fighter and champion yet he has not, and might not, defend his belt this entire year. That's not being an active champion.

He walks around at 168, he said he didn't have to cut anything to make 170 for thr Diaz fight. He says he can make 145 again but his coaches don't want him to, if he can't, he should relinquish the belt and not hold up the division. But I see what he and the UFC are doing, as long as he fights in other divisions, he can still keep his belt and drawing power and there is a built in excuse of him fighting bigger guys out of his weight class. I get it, it's smart. But this is less about Conor and more about Frankie getting screwed. Conor actually leapfrog get Frankie for the title shot over a year ago because money talks but Frankie is the rightful #1 contender and a bad match up for Conor, it's not surprising that Conor is ducking him.

My money is on Nate, Frankie and Aldo in a rematch vs. Conor... but I think Hollaway would be a good match up for him.

Holloway been on fire. Conor already beat him though. Whatever, I'm not arguing this again.

Honestly Edgar is not a fighter I care about watching. Whatever it is, his style, I don't give 2 shyts about watching his fights though I know he's good. He just doesn't move the meter. That's why UFC doesn't care to put him on and definitely not to headline cards. He's doesn't do numbers. Oh wells

If this fight was at 55....there's virtually no doubt in my mind that Conor wins...

I think a 15 lb. Weight cut in a full training camp isn't totally a bad thing. Keeps you disciplined and literally /figuratively hungry.

45 seems too much and 70 seems too lax. Nate is gonna fight @ 170...but he walks around @ 180-185. :francis:...

Conor will decision him, I think...but it will be difficult.

Conor's only hope of winning this is through superior hand speed because he can't outwork Nate upright or on the mat. A full Diaz camp will make it just that little more interesting.
