considering that illmatic is my favorite album ever i gave this "young droog" a quick listen...loosey in the store w/ pennies and gunsmoke cologne sound almost exactly like illmatic nas. the flow is just slightly off. he also uses the kind of wordplay(the same word different meaning) throughout the release that kool g rap(basically his mentor) was the first rapper i heard use. the reference to illmatic and serch is also interesting.
if someone told me this was nas i wouldn't be suprised...i'd be more so disappointed that he didn't stay spitting like this for all those years.
