So, has No DJ CDQ versions of:

High
When Thugs Die

Surfaced?

Columbia just dropped the greatest hits compilation: "The Essentials: Nas". I was encouraged for a minute thinking that Columbia might be the next to drop a new volume of The Lost Tapes in the near future. The 20th anniversary of Illmatic is next year and that probably when Nas will drop his next album. I am wondering if Columbia will get jump on the bandwagon capitalize on what may be a new Escobar Season.
i cant help with anything u mentioned..
but are u big mark from the Nas BBS?

Starving for more unreleased Nas shyt. Preferably from the Columbia days. What are they waiting on? The Essentials: NaS 2 disc compilation, that is out now, was the perfect project to let those known unreleased track out. He still has at least an album worth of known, quality unreleased tracks in the Columbia vaults.

You Don't Know Me
Rise and Fall
My Worst Enemy is Me
When Thigs Die
High
Talk of New
Mc Burial
Death Anniversary
Seeds of Heaven
Your Mouth Gor You In It
Anybody Test
I Already Know

Plus more. WTF!

The popular version of the leaked song has the 45king's tags in there and a Biggie voice bite. I have that one. Im talking about one that does not bave those tags. There was also a slightly different version of High that had a hook where they said "push it up". It was Static Seletah's mix tape.

That's one of my favorite unreleased Nas tracks. Gotta have that and can't believe that wasnt good enough to make an album.

A couple years ago, DJ Rhude dropped a few older Nas tracks CDQ NO DJ. That's was a good drop too. I assume he got at the DJs who had them and worked something out. He said that he might do another so i may try to reach out to him and tru to get him to work on a second volume for next year.

Clue has When Thugs Cry? Somebody needs to hit him up on Twitter or something. Another one I really want, with NO DJ from the DefJam vaults is Snitch Alibi. The leaked version that is out now is quality but still has minor tags. Somebody needs to hit up Boola, the producer.

I actually hit up DJ Doo Wop a few months back, trying to buy a CDQ copy of "Sosa Vs The State" AZ, Nas and Nature, that he did the scratches for. He had no idea what song I was talking about, then I never heard from him again after I sent him a YouTube link... Guess it was worth a shot. I also hit up Statik Selektah who put it on a Nas mixtape but never heard back from him.

Nice try! See that's what I am talking about. I just emailed DJ Rhude, who in a earlier email stated that he had a couple more unreleased Nas tracks but not enough to do a second Found Tapes volume. I simply reminded him about the project and told him that next year would be the perfect climate for second volume since Nas' new studio album will be dropping.

We need to identify what tracks we want and then identify how the currently leaked version was released, then hit that person up.
