was just trying to illustrate, that people on all sides of the industry, current indie guys, managers of the biggest rap artist in the world, journalists for big rags, fine ass nbc news anchors, random internet dorks—really, the whole spectrum of NYs hip hop scene was there, for 'just some lil internet thing' nas is too busy to pay attention to.
i'm just saying, you'd think that knowing "people always come for you when you're at the top" you'd pay attention to whose down the hill on the come up. or have your team do that for you, while you handle the bigger tasks.

Nas was on tour, opening 12 AM in Vegas, doing the Illmatic documentary, and getting Mass Appeal records off the ground. He didn't have time to listen to Droog. I like Droog but I thought the Nas comparisons were dragged out by everyone on the net. He is dope though. Point is, Dilla's beats are ALL OVER THE NET, so really Nas don't need to acknowledge Houseshoes or anyone. And the reason why Houseshoes even open his mouth because him and rest of those clowns are milking Dilla dry. nikkas re-releasing the same beats with other corny ass rappers over and over again. The song is fire. This isn't even a single. Nas did his thing

i was on the floor immediately disspelling the droog rumours. i did droog's first single art because i know his manager and a few of his producers, but knew for a fact that there's no way no Nas (even in disguise) was gonna have me designin shyt for nothing related to him after the shyt 2 years ago lol.
but as i keep mentioning, no one has time to be aware of everything, but someone on your team should be aware of shyt happening considering every major hip hop news publication, message board, and conversation was stupidly making the conversation for a good several weeks.

These people are FURIOUS that Nas pays them ABSOLUTELY ZERO ATTENTION but they on forums calling the man "lazy" and dictating what he should be aware of and typing thesis level response about an artist who they claim is "lost." I don't understand why anyone who has these types of beliefs towards someone would put so much energy into it unless they are emotionally invested & have an ulterior motive. But it's not that, they think he's not good enough at it, which just means they think he's not living up to his potential which implies they think he's great deep down. Always got me on some
