Apparently an album with 2 Pete Rock joints, 2 Rza joints etc etc aint good enough to these faggit ass critics and the cornball public(Big Mel) when it comes to Nas.Pete Rock I think.....that song is what solidifies this album’s greatness for me...just some head noddin hip hop shyt on that one

Honestly....I’m not even tryna talk to nikkas no more. This hip hop shyt is some pedigree shyt and some ain’t that pedigreed in it. I know classic shyt when I hear it....if the source was in play today this would be 4 1/2 mics easy.....lotta these people came around with pitchfork magazine and corny shyt like that. You know my nikka and any other real head know....I’ve heard people try to tell me Tyler the creator album is this and that, and no diss to his creative collection, but those same people can’t try and tell me shyt bout this Nas famApparently an album with 2 Pete Rock joints, 2 Rza joints etc etc aint good enough to these faggit ass critics and the cornball public(Big Mel) when it comes to Nas.
I wonder what they edited out after nas says wish i could chill with my son more on qb politics
Them punks at HipHopDX scored it a 3.1/5
The songs that permeate The Lost Tapes 2 aren’t earsores but are lesser variations of cuts he crafted during that time frame. He inspired his audience better on “We’re Not Alone” from the untitled LP more effectively than he aims to do on “Royalty” featuring RaVaughn. “Bye Baby” from Life Is Good‘s reserve is a much more satisfying commentary on Nas’ divorce from Kelis than “Beautiful Life,” also featuring RaVaughn. And, “A Queens Story” from Life Is Good is a wistful tribute to his hood that is far superior to “Vernon Family.”
Review: Nas' "The Lost Tapes 2” Doesn't Match The OG's Euphoria
These nikkas ears MUST be made of corn, with heads of muthafukking lettuce
Also bytch Don't Kill My Vibe and Worst Behavior. Great producer. Wonder when he got involved with this track. Has to be relatively recent-ish.
this is dope.. its up there.. the first one is mint breh.. nothing fukkin withtat. there were no skippable joints.. love this though classic in its own rightI think this is fukkin wit the first one breh
I stopped worrying what critics say. they all have different agendas. Nasir 's spot is solidified on the mount rushmore of hiphopYeah thats unfortunate but I kinda figure this was whats gonna happen. It got a mixed reception on social media even from people who cover music. I liked it and its 3.75-4 out of 5 for me. But I started getting worried when even people who cover music and support Nas like Will Ketcheum werent even talking about it. Granted it may take some time to digest but we'll see
Theres a lot of expectations that were lumped on the Lost Tapes brand by critics because of how strong the tracks were on the first one so Im not shocked by this but I do think hes rapping great
You spelled trash wrong brehThis album is classic

Out of the all the album songs to mention as being superior, they mention We're Not Alone? The song where Nas rapping about seeing alien spaceships with Horse?
Come on, son. We're Not Alone is not better than 90% of the songs on here...and this is coming from someone who LOVES Untitled.
Technically he was talking bout both Carmen and Kelis. Carmen had the tell all book but Kelis was the one trying to keep his son from him. Carmen never did that to the public’s knowledgeThat’s how you know the review is BULLshyt. LOL
Nas discussing Carmen on A Beautiful Life so you can’t compare it to Bye Baby.
