Nas having "terrible beat selection" is a myth. All of Nas' albums except Nastradamus and Untitled have pretty good production.LIG was good grown man hiphop and I liked it a lot. But Nas should fukk off with this "No Limits" bullshyt. He's limited by his usual terrible ear for beats with few exceptions. He needs to get better with that, I'm down on Jay for being lazy as fukk with his rapping but at least he can pick decent beats.
Nas' hook on BBC made the song hotYa Nas keep talkin this no limit sht
U know dam well u aint bout dat
U aint Jay nikka
We heard that horrid verse on BBC
U dnt have the versatility to progress
All u know how to do is impress ur same ol stanbase of Nas stans who are content with u releasing the same sht over and over again
No limit my ass u fakkit
That's because Nas's music matured as he aged and matured; Jay-Z, not so much.shyt is gonna be fire. Nas has gotten better at rapping as he got older than Jay-z has if you ask me.
unlike magna carter(metacritic rating 59%) which was getting clowned left and right by critics and some of jay's peers (e.g. earl sweatshirt), nas life is good(metacritic rating 81%) was being described as a breath of fresh air by peers such as fabolous, royce da 5'9,big sean, kendrick, etc.....fukkin chump thinks life is good was a major influence in the game
