I like this song. But this might be the first time I ever seen a video that makes the song itself sound less impressive.

Visuals don't match the lyrics or the delivery at all

I'm with whoever said this song didn't need a video, but I imagined it having darker colors and Nas just rapping his verses under a single spotlight, sitting on a chair facing backwards. :ehh:

As the first song on the album, it feels like it would require a video with a more intimate setting.

Makes me miss the Chris Robinson/Benny Boom era of Nas videos. I'm quite sure they cost a grip, no diss to Hype Williams, those videos were cinematic with "One Mic" being a masterpiece of a video.
