NaSir Bin Olu Dara Visqu Allah
Fist full of dollars in a dice game God

"NaSIR"........personal, very personal. Epic, Epic cover with those Black Boys with the toys and gats. I think they were all 80's babies too because the Photo was from the 80's I believe. I remember those types of clothes growing up.

I got so many Nas songs I love, but my top three is probably Memory Lane, Small World and this mad underrated joint right here...

shyt is like the 11th Illmatic song to me...

His second verse on this shyt always hits me in the gut...

Yo, I'm a cream fiend with a mean dream
Brain full of schemes, my crew's rollin' fresh out the greens
Give you what you never seen, the infs on the MAC-10
It's 2:10 in the A.M. in the streets of Queens
Try hard and die hard
Chances of survivin' the game is like tryin' to feed Allah lard
A walk a piece with a deadly shadow
They want to blow me with the double barrel, found no sorrow
I brawl with Blanka, caught Bison in a thinker, Dome
Make hell your new home, with the blue chrome
Mid-State wants me, suave fellow but raunchy
The soul of a cold body haunts me, I flee the country
But only to shed tears for years
Too wild for my own self, hopin' help is near
Street fightin' was cool, but in school I brought a new tool

Duelin' with the devil, a rebel, a fool

:ohhh::wow::ahh::ohlawd:

I wasnt old enough to buy Illmatic and my parents damn sure wouldnt let me buy IWW or I Am, but I did cop Stillmatic and God's Son was a day 1 purchase.
I remember blasting "Blaze a 50" off that Lost Tapes album over and over again, cause it was like a was hearing a Tarantino movie, the storytelling was that vivid.
I liked Street Disciples, loved Hip Hop is Dead, wasnt into Untitled/the n.i.g.g.e.r. album and I thought Life is Good was damn close to being his best album since Stillmatic.
I think Nasir bout to drop a classic.
