which is cool, it's their opinions, but when you review a new Nas albums don't say shyt like "It doesn't live up to Nas STANDARDS" ? what standards when you didn't like anything he made after 1994?

I wonder how frequent this can get with people have those little differences across streaming services. Like on Damn Kendrick says "Life is one funny muhfukka" on Tidal, and "God is one funny muhfukka" on others.

Word, I'ma have to go back to my leaked version and listen to Fear and compare it. Yeah, when the Tidal joint came out the edit caught me off guard. I think he still says "God" on the Spotify version too.

Ehhh..Mike's second favorite Nas album is Untitled, which he loves.

DEHH is pretty fair and thought out in their reviews in general. The only problem I had with the review was B claiming Nas jumped on the mafioso trend. Nas had done a mafioso track with G Rap and introduced Nas Escobar to everyone on OB4CL before IWW came out.

People debating and arguing over rap shyt SHOULD be a good thing. So much convo boils down to stan wars today that you rarely see a debate over just rap shyt. That's why I like the Phonte/Life After Death thread btw. There's some stan shyt in there but overall it's just a discuss/argument about rap shyt. It's fun.

Their hit or miss. They play favorites and don't give popular artist a fair shake like Cole,Drake and Big Sean.

Yeah that’s what I mean. On that version, Puff doesn’t say the “lies” adlibs but on other versions he does and has other admin differences.

I don’t have links to them though, I’ve just been listening to it on streaming services. I wonder which version I’ll get on the vinyl I ordered

also has the "caucasian malaysian" adlibs at the end of the 2nd verse

had never heard this version. i prefer version 1 w/o puff and version 2 w/o the "as we proceed to give u what u need" b.s.

I like every single song. I just let it play over and over. No skips.
I’m not saying the album doesn’t have its flaws :Peasy:
But it’s definitely 4 mics and an enjoyable listen. I love the fact that it’s short. Any more songs and Kanye probably would have called Swizz for Summer on smash 2 :PPicard:
I will say this, that Slick Rick sample was genius. And the beat is crazy. But then they had somebody singing for the chorus :PGucci:
And added some bullshyt to the beat :PGucci:
Still love the song though :PHandsup:
