This is a dope album. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. Other than White Label, everything on here is special. The last three tracks in particular are the embodiment of everything that makes Nas dope. Nobody else could sound like him on these songs. I’m glad to hear that he still has it.

But this highlights the fallacy behind all this album's critics. EVERYONE seems to have at least 2-3 tracks that they're feeling regardless of their overall opinion of the album. However, although all the critics agree the album isn't "great", what they don't agree on are which tracks are good. They all have different answers. The shyt is only SEVEN tracks :mjlol:

This is a general of what I've seen in regards to the album. Almost all the critical reviews mention Kelis though, you'd think they're reviewing Life is Good. :dame:

Knocking an artist for not addressing a particular topic is :mindblown:

Are people really not fukking with this?? Granted, I've only bumped like 5 tracks more than a few times but Nas was on point for everyone. My biggest complaints are short songs and sometimes the hooks.

The two songs I don't bump much are Cops and White Label. I keep listening for were Nas is supposed to be off beat but can't hear it. Which is really annoying because I see dudes likeCrooked I, who don't get me wrong, he's nasty, but I've heard verses from him where he's legit noticeable off beat (he says it's just falling in awkward pockets but no fukk that) and he defends eminem who was also noticeably, undeniably off beat at points in his last album so will someone point out to me where Nas is off beat? The nerve if these guys. Because he wasn't off beat on Adam and Eve, bonjour, everything or simple things I know that for a fact.

Some of this production is so weak. Probably the laziest and least inspired of Kanye’s career. If it wasn’t for a couple of tracks on Pusha’s album, I would say he’s totally washed.

Just listen to the Simple Things instrumental. No way he took more than an hour to produce that entire track.

They tried this before. When Nas was beefing, there was a lot of pressure to suppress Nas. But he had Made You Look that was an undeniable banger. He doesn't have a radio single like that this time.

It's going to fizzle for now but real heads will know. I think this entire Wyoming project will go down in history. That other album will be forgotten over time. This will have that slow burn. Time will tell.

HipHopDX gave Nasir 3.8/5

They gave The Carters a perfect 5

I like Everything Is Love. Truly I do. But a PERFECT 5:comeon:
2 different type of albums breh

Stan shyt aside

I, in a million years never thought I would see the the day a surprise Jay & Bey album is a more cohesive and put together better than a Nas album. The Carter’s actually have a theme. I don’t know wtf Nasir is
