Well, the KSG listening party was in LA.
There's only one place a Nas listening party should be:
Queens

Is he still signed to Def Jam? I see the album is being released by Mass Appeal/Def Jam
Yup so it's a partnership. Last Def Jam album, while simultaneously his first Mass Appeal/UMG album. I'm very curious whether Nas has managed to buy his masters. If not, Lost Tapes 2 could be harder to release. I kinda feel like Lost Tapes 2 would be the obvious choice for the next album; feeds the fans, provides another big project for this new label, and gives Nas time to work on whatever is coming next.According to the article today all of his future recordings will be via Mass Appeal. So this is his last Def Ham album
These 3 need to pull the damn trigger.
i hope so... you've never steered me wrong before... here's to NaS being the goat and another classic release...Incoming classic

Also curious to see what other artists sign to this label. It seems like the only successful albums Mass Appeal had were RTJ2 and The Mountain Will Fall (DJ Shadow); RTJ3 was on Sony Red. With more money and distribution, I'd expect the label can attract some decent signings.
