It ain't like people didn't have good reason to doubt it was coming out. I mean the album was teased several times as being finished with word that it would drop Summer 2015 and Summer 2017. Then Kanye comes out of the blue and announces a date. Yeah, the other albums came out, but this is Ye and stakes for a new Nas album are much higher than the other projects he put out.

While I don't doubt this is coming out on 6/15/18, I'm not going to say that there wasn't more than enough reason not to believe it.
There were reasons to doubt it at the beginning when we only had Kanye tweets as a source of information but not anymore once all the other projects dropped on time and pretty much everyone involved confirmed it.

We've had tweets, IG posts, and people involved with Nas's album during differwnt stages claim Nas was 80% done with the album and Nas himself has a post from years ago saying it would drop that Summer. Then just last year, he said it was dropping that summer. So yeah, even with Ye droppin the other projects on time, and people talking about hearing songs, even the GOAT said the album wasn't done until it was out and that was earlier this year.

I would have lost $500 if I bet this wouldn't dropped, like I believe I said in an earlier thread lol

I'd love to hear the album, I'd rather Kanye not be associated with any of the artists I love, because I find him disgusting, dangerous, and have no regard for him as a person, nor his music, nor the struggles of a Beverly Hills socialite and vapid wife.

That said, I am not sure how this turns out. Nas has been very hit or miss flow and beat wise, just in the last 2 years. I've liked some, and thought others weren't really worth playing again.

I have no doubt there will be some undeniably dope tracks. And I am fine with that. I really want The Lost Tapes 2, almost over more new music, as a final gift from Nas.

And you basing this from....
We're talking about Nas. Let's not forget that.

No single(s).
Did he handle his issues with Kelis? Can't have any bs coming out after the release.
No confirmation from his camp.
I don't see Nas sacrificing his way of releasing albums for Kanye's current way.

That's my opinion.
