Which Journal of CC is the one to buy?

This I really can't really pinpoint. The one I bought from Amazon is one that claims Christopher Columbus authored and was copied by Bartholomew Las Casas. Still a great read for nothing else, it illustrates how Westernized Christianity was used to gain trust and enslave. Even from reading Columbus' letter from the preface. It is crazy that not only does this man get a national holiday in his "honor", but he's canonized as a hero and the evil of his narrative is not spoken of or taught in schools, but the lie is the one that is.

So, the Nas lines on "Dedicated" inspired me to read Destruction of the Black Civilization. Interesting read so far. A lot of parallels to Black life in America. I also copped a copy of the Journal of Christopher Columbus.

That's so dope yo, salute to you man, for real. We need to read more as a whole, salute to Nas for inspiring shyt like that. He didn't inspire you to want to go pick up a gun or get into selling dope...he made you want to read a book. Think about that, . That's beautiful. I don't get why either...dude is the most reclusive, unproblematic and down to earth Rushmore rapper ever...like it baffles me why they go out of their way to hate the guy. You can see the seeds planted on some posters here...it's crazy

Its because he didn’t go along with some of these nikkas expectations for his career. A vocal minority wanted Nas to be Jeru The Damaja or O.C. Status and stay on that dusty street rap shyt forever and never expand his persona or sound. You can always identify someone like this if they say It Was Written was a sell out album. Anyone who says that shouldn’t have their opinions taken seriously when it comes to Nas music. Even Q-Tip tried to tell Steve Stoute that he was ruining Nas career when he heard If I Ruled The World. Because he couldn’t see Nas as anything more than a street rapper. nikkas literally wanted to put Nas in a box after his FIRST goddamn album? Its absurd.
