I was hoping they wouldnt put the 21 joint on there even though I get its just to boost the first week sales.

Hopefully the album is different than that. I do get a sense maybe this isnt like Magic in terms of straight bars and beats but hopefully we'll see whats up

The fact that it's 9 songs like the first one plus an intro and bonus track is interesting.

For all #'s watching ass dudes he's on a list with people who probably double the amount of "hits" he does. He checks the boxes that's why he is among the GOATS. That shyt is impressive he did it

:wow: :salute:

He’d be even higher on the list if he paid for the certifications. There’s no WAY albums like Nastradamus/Gods Son/and Streets Disciple aren’t at least double platinum by now.

Bokeem Woodbine
Earvin Magic Johnson

!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;

I’ve been racking my brain about the Bokeem Woodbine name drop. Has he made any magic based movies or tv shows? All I remember him in is hood dramas and as the rapist doctor in City Of Angels

Paying homage to an actor we all know but never got past the cusp of blowing up. Dude knew Tupac and was in Pac's last video too I think.

I definitely think "NaStradamus" and "God's Son" are double for sure by now. I don't know about "Streets Disciple" but with the double LP credit maybe it is too. It's funny "NaStradamus" was past 1.5 the last time I check it back in the 2000's. I still laugh at the fact a lot of people don't realize "NaStradamus" is one of NaS's most commercially successful LP, lol. Which is interesting because it came out after "I am" and still was able to do those numbers.

Name another major to have done with Nas and Hitboy's been doing? They're basically their own group if you think about it. Eric B and Rakim, Gangstarr, Mobb Deep. They're groups in a similar vein. Producer/Rapper group.
5 albums, they are officially a duo

I don’t think Nas would put any song, even a bonus track, on an album JUST for the sake of sales and streams. He hasn’t done that on any album so far.

I think Nas himself must really love the song. I remember when Hit Boy first played him the beat and he was going crazy over it and said “I think we’re take over the game a little longer!” So One Mic One Gun might’ve been the joint that really popped off him being inspired to make Magic 2.

All of these albums seem very organically put together. Every song seems like it was “meant” to be on there and they’ve done an AMAZING job of sequencing.
