Finished this shyt and almost threw my phone when this shyt with 21 savage came on. Favorite song was office hours without a doubt. 50 definitely didn’t write inspired which is what I figured. But nas killed it and loved vintage 50 talking shyt shyt…. fukk it. Still a good album. Just expected way more. It was the weakest out the series for sure…. And I know the media will feed on that.

I like it...they are taking more risks with this one...but I can see how some fans gonna be like :patrice:

I wouldn't even say they took risks. It's late and I'm high so maybe I need to play it in the morning but I clicked play excited but at the end I was like :dahell:

It doesn't sound inspired and compared to the previous albums it seems lazy. The songs feel like throwaways that didn't make the KD's and Magic. There isn't anything I felt was a real high point and the production is a big step down.

I'll run it back but first impression was mid.

also Nas went from improving his flow and delivery through the series to sounding lazy and off on points... ain't nothing to do with risks. 30 was a risk, the first part WTF was a risk.

Album is cool. Give it 3 mics off first listen. Bokeem woodbine is the clear standout to me. Everything else is kinda bland to me. Every beat got the same tempo and vibe. Nas using the same choppy flow on every song. Just feels stale at this point.

The Nas and Hitboy tandem has officially run its course. Hitboy is just not that guy and its time people realize it.
