I'm iffy on this...

NaS is my favorite artist, regardless of genre, but I don't want to hear about his personal issues. He slipped a lot of that in Distant Relatives, and I think that weighed down the album significantly.

I'm not really feeling the album cover, wish the cover matched the title.

How can you say someone is your favorite artist but say you dont want him to get personal?

He needs to dump that Salaam Remi cat and fukk with No I.D. more

Exactly. All of the producer talent in the world, and he still allows this guy to contribute to his albums? He's the best rapper so he should be working with top flight producers or new and upcoming cats with talent. And I'm not saying he needs an album of Jeezy/Ross bangers, but Salaam Remi is just wack.

dope cover. not what i was expecting but im rocking with it.

as for the album, i dont think the whole album is going to be about kelis, so far we have heard 3 tracks off the album and not one of em is about her. i just think its going to be more personal in general.

and its funny to see so many people on some "he should fukk with No ID" shyt. firstly, he is fukkin with No ID. second, two years ago No ID wasn't even mentioned with the great producers, now it seems everyone is dikk riding him hard (but i bet most of yall aint even cop that Cocaine 80s shyt), smh.

Nas definitely needs to continue working with Salaam. I'm glad he's a part of this album, because they work well together.

Seriously, Salaam has produced some of Nas' greatest songs, and "The Don" and "Nasty" were both fire. People just like to have something to complain about.
