He doesn’t help himself by not making videos of them, doing remixes and collars etc. 21 Savage has a Nas collab before Drake and Kodak for example, Reminisce could have had a drill remix with other young NY rappers also, even on the first Kings Disease if you replaced Sean with Drake nothing is lost on that track and it probably reaches Top 40. It’s not always the radio djs fault, Mass Appeal need to do more pushing if they truly want ‘Mass Appeal’.
I don’t disagree with you but those songs are good enough as is, but it’s the state of the game as well.

I'm just saying if he gonna get on tracks with mainstream artists. Pick the correct mainstream artists. Make it worthwhile.
That 21 savage collab was the right idea. That might have been a test for the team to see how it did numbers wise and it looks like it was the right move. Maybe 2023 he will do more collabs.

Its not like he’s been anti-collab the last four years. KD1 had the most collaborations of ANY Nas album. KD2 had Eminem, Lauryn Hill, A Boogie, and YG. Magic had ASAP Rocky.

We need to dead this weird narrative that Nas doesn’t know who these newer or popular rappers are. He worked with Cordae and Freddie Gibbs. He worked with Lil Nas X. Nas and his team are extremely aware of these artists.

Nas didn’t put anybody on KD3 because he didn’t feel like it. Not because he somehow doesn’t know that working with them brings him in orbit of newer or younger demographics.

Maybe I worded it incorrectly. Nah I know Nas has collab with a lot of younger and new artist. But I think In 2023, we will see him take it even further with the modernization collabs and sound. I definitely don’t follow that narrative. I even rock with that joint he did Justin Bieber years ago. Also that lil Nas x joint was low key a banger at that time. (People don’t want to admit it though)

Crazy my favorite song still changing months later! “First Time” is my #1 last couple a weeks

First time is a great song. Only a handful of rappers have the legacy and status to do a song where they ask the listener when was the first time you heard me ? And Nas executes it perfectly.

And the visuals he creates of different moments someone might have heard Nas is classic Nas.

Really like these bars. So simple but with all the little touches you picture the moment clearly in your head

A dude who, I saw rockin' FUBU, outside Papaya's
Told me "Halftime" was timeless with Armor All'n his tires

And just to remind mutha fukkas

‘The classics they coming with, ain’t fukkin with, what I recorded last week’
