NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
I don't see what Nas said about Cam is the same as 21 Savage's comments. Nas didn't just single Cam out, he was calling out everyone he felt was wack. He even called out N.O.R.E and that was his homie. He was even on a skit on that album that year. It was basically Nas saying "step your game up".

21 said Nas was not relevant out of nowhere.
On top of that. He got at Nelly for the KRS shyt in that same rant I believe. Because he felt Nelly shouldn't be beefin wit the OGs.

Didn't watch but what they sayin?

crazy how everyone ran with their own assumption cuz they so into nas. They said 21 didn’t mean no disrespect and didn’t understand the meaning behind relevant and should have worded it different. And the internet ran with it but 21 ain’t the type to disrespect older rappers cuz they know him. but look at what everyone else took out of that. shyt is girlie…

Haha, damn i thought everybody had this, it's always been around. Don't remember if u were on the Nas board back in early 2000s, but this french kid Bounce2Dis was killing it with all the Nas related media. He had all the concerts, tv shows, interviews and shyt. Used to speak to him back then, he had some type of physical problem so was always at home and that's when he started collecting all these vids. Haven't spoken to him in 15 years, hope he's well now.

But check his Dailymotion account he has a shytload of rare Nas vids. I even see he posted a couple videos of a Nas concert in Paris back in 2005 that i had filmed and sent to him, LMAOOOOO @ the video quality back then man

The entrance on Message to the Feds was crazy though, ground was shaking and shyt

KD2 is 4.25 - 4.5 atleast to me anyway!

In my first few listening experiences bumping KD3 I became quickly convinced that this belongs to Nas's best albums. "I literally smiled like a proud dad watching his only son that made it” Nas delivered AGAIN coming from KD2 and Magic and none of these albums sound anything alike. The past 4 albums are enjoyable from a musical standpoint, no skips really (for me).

I'm just grateful for new Nas music brehs.
I Am..was the first album I bought realtime in 1999 as a 13 yr old. 37 now, still my favourite rapper and personal GOAT. Discography is just insane now!

This.

Usually when we talk about album runs, it's the first 3-4 albums in an artist's catalog. This Nas run is his latest 4 albums in two years during his late 40's. No other MC has been able to do that.

some may not have same view, but Nas and only a few have the subject matter to make you want to hear more albums from this deep in their career. can't lie there's a lot of legends in hip hop that I couldn't care if they released another album, as they'll only just flip what they've done before. But Nas and only a few others from the 90's can still bring new content, ideas, subject matters, perspectives to keep me wanting them to release more music

that in itself is a skill. some rappers struggle after like 4 albums to say something new.

Illmatic
IWW
I Am
Nastradamus

Vs.

KD1
KD2
Magic
KD3

What’s the word? The median on both groups is high 80’s or low 90’s imo…only difference is the first group progressively declined somewhat 5Illmatic is a crazy bar, to be fair) and the second group keeps inclining each time around
