''I didn't have to die so that they could call me the great one
Didn't take a couple albums, people said it from day one
From wings with hot sauce to tuna tartare, driven in RRs
From hidin' from robbery victims in back of cop cars
Tatted from my neck to abdomen
Almost gettin' shot was averagin' once every two weeks
Blessed what I had to been
These painful words, hearing these liars puttin' my name in dirt
Aim and I burst, pistol practice until my fingers hurt
I hit my target, uh, I up the margin
What they on? You know how Nas do, don't get me started....'''

Does anyone else feel like with this album, it sounds like the lyrics came first and then the production? Sounds like Nas had an idea for a track, wrote his verses, and Hit Boy produced the track based off the verses. This production sounds so much like a live band, with Nas dictating the pace and what the beat does if he says a certain word, or starts going in a certain direction with his verse. :wow:

According to ole girl Nas spit Legit accapella for Hit-Boy over the phone and Hit-Boy crafted the beat around the lyrics

Wanted to ask Hit Boy on Twitter if he added the ESG'S UFO sample after hearing Nas's line about the subway/train or if it was the other way around.

u missed my point i said he was checking 50 for his sub...When 50 made Window shopper he was throwing subs at Nas n other Hy rappers

I don’t think there’s a correlation there breh

Nas is just giving 50 acknowledgment there since they’ve gone on to prop one another recently via socials.

When 50 said what he said on that record he clearly did it to shyt on them since he had his issues with those particular artist.

I never wanna hear people bytch about a Nas/Premo album again. Nas and Hit Boy are 4 for 4 now. They just gel perfectly when it comes to this music shyt. we wanted good Nas albums and they keep giving them to us.

Nas and Prem did a song this year and it’s one of his LEAST streamed songs. It wouldn’t be a highlight on any of the collaboration efforts with hit. The obsession with Nas and Prem is weirdo behavior. That shipped sailed decades ago. Fans need to let it go. Have people heard Preem in this era?

Speaking of Twitter. Who here has a good amount of followers?
Gotta say the weeks before the release i didn't like all this talk about sales that Cooo and old lady kept having. shyt looked misplaced to me, especially since the promo wasn't there.

But now that son dropped such a masterpiece, i don't want him to flop saleswise. And i'm sure those so called Hip-hop media are just waiting for low figures to change the narrative on this, just like they did for Magic.

So i DM'd Coop proposing him to launch something on Twitter to get the KD3 hashtag trending again and pick up the buzz again before the end of the first week sales. But Coop wasn't on twitter the whole day yesterday so i DM'd ole girl and showed her what i posted to Coop.

But i'm only now reading what y'all posted about her Twitter Space last night... Not sure i understand what y'all wrote about what happened exactly. But looks like they ain't talking together no more, so i don't know where this is going now 🤔

I could do it myself but it would have a bigger impact if it came from them..
