that bootleg No Limit sounding “album” with Drama screaming all over it to make it sound like a mid 2000s mixtape? I gave it a couple of spins but it just sounded like he was trying to create a mixtape from 2005.
Nothing about those beats sounds like 2005 though. It’s a very dope album. Not my favorite so far - that goes to Pray For Haiti - but it’s number two. And I’ve never been a fan of Tyler.

I mean to be fair, Hitboy is not gonna say Nas verse was weak

I also wouldn’t think he would imply that he spazzed if he just rapped something regular… I never seen hitboy gas on the first album.. like he ain’t say nas spazzed on ultra black… I’m expecting something special

that’s just what came to mind right now as I was typing. At first I was going to say it reminded me more of a No Limit type sound or trying template that. But it’s been a few weeks since I listened to it. The mixtape vibe comes from Drama obviously but I didn’t think it was a standout in anyway. I haven’t liked anything from Tyler since he dropped Goblin I think.

As long as Nas album is good enough to still be among the best at the end of the year Im happy. You could Gibbs or one of the Griselda dudes had the album of the year last year but Nas was in contention and in the top 10 and if its the same here I'll be happy
