Tried to look at who made the edits and wasn’t a logged in contributor who contributed the Kanye and Dre edits. Just someone who edited randomly so not looking reliable

however who makes the random adds like Tay Keith and Illmind. Who is that sad to make those edits if not true

HYPED AS FUCC FOR THIS!

Just copped a kings disease hoody & digital album of the first one. Even though I already got 2 vinyls when it dropped.

Also ordered an IWW Limited hoody when the anniversary dropped

Hope Eminem doesn’t ruin that EPMD 2 Joint. That’s the only one I’m iffy about.

Never heard of this boogie guy so no idea what to expect there.

Looking at Kings Disease track list though and seeing some of the feats on that I was like ehhh this ain’t gonna be all that great…. Then it dropped. And I can play every single song front to back. No skips for me.

Didn’t think I would ever see myself fukking w joints from the following:

Big Sean (TRASH. Ruined that Benny & Wayne Joint too)
Rocky (nothing against him just never reslly listened to his music before)
Don Toliver (no idea who he is)
Fivio Foreign (see above ^^^)
Lil Durk (mumble crap)

Wouldn’t listen to any of them outside of KD btw except maybe Rocky.

I like how Nas link w the youth & some older dudes too. Was a good balance. The younger peeps gonna check KD when they see those names like Durk etc which exposes Nas to a whole new audience. At the same time Nas stays true to his regular audience and doesn’t compromise his sound. Modern production from Hit-Boy absolutely delivers. KD was the perfect balance.

So going off that I’m pretty excited for KD2

Of course Vinyl & Hoody if they do them when Merch drops are a day one 1 cop for me
How old are u fam?

Always feels like early Christmas to me when a new Nas album is coming, but the excitement around this one feels different. It seemed like a lot of people were hesitant with the first KD between Hit-Boy doing the whole thing plus some of the off the wall features, but now that we've seen the result of it I feel like it's brought a lot of public excitement for the follow up. Then of course Em and Lauryn features add even more to that.

I think this is the most excited/optimistic I've been for a Nas album since SD (the result didn't match my through the roof hype but I expect a different result here). And to think he's doing this 28 years in!

Damn, it's probably the first time in 15/20 years that Nas has a video ready on time for the album release, and not 3 to 6 months after the album dropped (I'm talking besides the street singles like thief's theme etc.. that came out weeks or months before the album)

Even for KD i was mad at how long they took to do the videos, this time around it's done correctly!
pretty sure they were doing those videos post covid lockdown.... which would affect their ability to shoot

just a thought :skip:
