This! I was blasting the album in the whip on my way to work. Can’t believe I’m saying this but even EMPD 2 is starting to grow on me including (albeit just a tiny bit) Em’s verse. Also, Death Row East, 40 Side, YKTV, Rare, and Count Me In is go SO fukkING HARD on the highway :damn::damn::damn::damn:

That’s how we experienced albums back in the day before downloading became a thing.

nikka if I spent $15 on an album, I’m listening to that muthafukka a few times over even if it’s wack. Sometimes you discover a couple of joints even if an album is wack.

Yeah man, we got our shyt off, let's just enjoy this shyt(Jet Life) fam. I ran through Untitled today too and man...it aged really well

Maaan I need to give Untitled another spin because I haven’t listened to it since 2012. I’m still shock that someone several posts ago said that Life Is Good hasn’t aged well….I’m sitting here like :dwillhuh: I threw on LIG and played it in full for the first time in 8 years and that album has aged like fine cherry wine :wow: I have a powerful bass speaker and that shyt could barely handle Loco-Motive and The Don :damn::damn:

LIG is the Illmatic of the second phase of Nas career. I love that fukking album. I’ll fight you if you say that album is wack.

From what he explain. He came back to the crib and all that was there was the wedding dress. So she obviously the one who dipped according to his words. That crib he stopped paying on no one was living there. What he DID do was give her a bunch of gift cards worth thousands of dollars to baby stores so she can only get shyt for the baby before the baby was born because she was tryna get crazy bread from him before the baby we even born. She said it was for the baby but when he did that she got pissed. Lol

My nikka Nas is always sharp lol

fukk that bytch Kelis :hhh:

I'm going to keep listening to this album until I can play back every song in my head. "Moments" and "Composure" are the only ones left.

I think "Death Row East," "Rare," and "Brunch on Sundays" are my favorite tracks right now. And "Nobody," so that's my top four.

What do you think the second phase of Nas' career is? I just thought about it and I feel like you could split it up like this:

First phase: Illmatic to God's Son
Second phase: Street's Disciple to Life is Good
Third phase: Nasir to present day
