Too early for rankings/ratings for me but....I really think this is a top 5 Nas album brehs.

I don’t want to jump the gun either, but this album is special. It feels like you are taking a journey when you listen to this all the way through on one listen. That to me is the mark of a great album. Like watching a good movie.

I completely agree

Nas is Good (financially)

it's seems like a silly thing be concerned over

I don't understand any fans who care about sales, like those Marvel nerds being happy that Avengers did a billion or Drake fans.... cool, you're happy that the rest of the world has the same taste as you? Are you getting a cut from the sales? I don't get it

I think a good portion of fans wants Nas to have the distinction of having a number 1 album in 4 decades.

Yup. They hit so many vibes and emotions on here. You get just enough Nas flossing/shyt talking, the patented Nas-talgia tracks, Nas dropping gems, dope 90s throwback ladies joint, and one of his best storytelling tracks (Death Row East).

this is a dope website...how long thy been around?

Pretty long time actually. I think I remember seeing their articles float around 2009. Basically like a second okayplayer hip hop website.
They've scaled down a bit from what they were due to how the media/digital business but they still cover hip hop well

On my trip out to Cairo,
I felt home on arrival /
I swam in the Red Sea,
took a boat on the Nile

That shyt was worded beautifully, :banderas:

Before they watered it down and taught us bogus lessons
Written in stone, write whatever in your history books
Me and ancient Egyptian skin tone had similar looks

Felt the same damn way when I visited Egypt riding a boat down the Nile. :ahh:
