Agree with this. I think the one thing KD1 & KD2 are lacking is the creative concept/storytelling songs that Nas usually has on his albums.
Think Get Down, Book Of Ryhyms, Fried Chicken, Rewind, Purple, etc. Those are what sets Nas albums apart, those tracks where he's just zoning out.
I think he can still make them, just needs to be motivated enough.
Never got the hate for that song. The flow was crazy. Just an all around dope vibe. Some of the lines still crack me up like the line about dude smoking with one lung and Nas said if he cough, he might die.
