One thing that is funny/impressive about Esco is that while he’s extremely low key and private, he always seems to somehow know how to merge current lingo with his art without coming off as being an old head that’s reaching. See references to driving the boat on YKTV and quite a few on Brunch on Sundays.

Social media interlocked everyone man...a 19 year old rap fan and IG user who lives in Brooklyn and a 47 year old rap fan and IG user who lives in San Antonio both probably use the same slang and like the same records and type the same hashtags and all that.

Back when I was a teenager there was nothing to connect us with the 35+ crowd, they didn't know our slang/fashion/music/etc... That's a wrap now. My barber is like 55 and every other word out his mouth is "Facts" or "lit", lol.

I'm reading through the thread while listening to the album, and the O-Dog line came on at the exact moment I got to your post, lol.

I was finally able to listen in its entirety and omg, this is a classic! :mjcry:

now I’m even more pissed at my brother. We was going to buy Nas tickets for when he come in September but I was waiting on him but this was before he dropped KD2. Now he will be performing KD N KD2.

I wanted front row seats, idc how much now they’re all gone. I cursed his ass out. :pacspit:
