Nas takes a lot of pauses & breaks after bars now.

I'm not hearing what you're talking about. Nas flow sounds sharp as hell on this to me.

Easily better than the first. Give it a solid 4 mics off first listen. Gonna let it digest more. All I'm gonna say for now is that Eminem absolutely ruined that EPMD track. Smh. That choppy ass flow was horrendous. I Have no choice but to pretend that track never happened. I wasn't too thrilled about the beat to begin with. But Nas killed it and I thought Eminem would at least be decent enough. But nope. It's so bad I feel like he he purposely sabotaged that shyt. There's just no other explanation for that bullshyt

Same here. And even if it’s slower, who cares? Dope is dope. Dude is gotta he close to 50 give or take a couple years, right? I wouldn’t expect him to rap like as fast as he did 20 years ago.

Also when you get older you learn how to do more with less. I feel like Nas is able now to say more with less words.

Nas’ flow is sharp on a good bit of these tracks.

It’s just slower and less technical than what it used to be as a whole, even circa LIG

I attribute most of it to age but he’s still a great emcee
