Nas will never get credit for how well his music ages. He has grown man music and a majority of it still sounds good today. Kings Disease was perfectly sonically for today. My girl be bumping spicy and replace me, but she said the cure is the best song on the album.:obama::ahh:

Marry that girl :wow:

He had an interesting response to one of those questions.
I read the interview. He said something about being disappointed that
some producers told him some of the political stuff he was talking about years ago wasn't relevant
and he sounds outdated in so many words.. Did I interpret that part right because I didn't watch the video on if he
was being sarcastic or what

Nas: Yeah man, I’ve worked on albums, and some of your favourite producers told me you know, stuff you’re talking about, it’s like Public Enemy, that doesn’t happen anymore, this is years ago… It was kind of discouraging to hear from a few people that the direction I was in, wasn’t even needed anymore. And I didn’t know if it was because they were so blind or because I was stuck in an era that was far gone, and I needed to move on.

^^^ this was disheartening to read. It makes me wonder which producers told Nas this. That's never something you want to tell an artist at all.

Man who remembers this low key gem?? I was pissed the illmatic to Stillmatic remix album had the edited lyrics but after all these years I found a uncut version. I actually like this better than the og and if you know Nas, you know why he choose this beat for the remix.

:wow::wow::wow:

WOW..i remember this GEm.
