Riding Cardi's fame to a high placement on the charts would do nothing for Nas and his legacy..... and depending on who writes her verse, it could sound extremely stupid next to Nas verse(with maybe new lyrics)yall nikkas wild, yall already hate on Fivio verse and he had the most memorable moment on the song. I can imagine what yall would say about Cardi

Nobody's expecting a Rhapsody level verse from Cardi lol, but she fits the vibe of it and has one of the biggest song out. It's a Nas song with the younger generation of NY. Cardi is apart of that and I mean que lo que is one of the main parts of the song.

What's your favorite version of Family?
Dame Grease

MF Doom

Cloudkickers (DJ Eli and ?)

The Cloudkickers joint got heavy play on Stretch and Bobbito I think that's my fav, followed by Doom, I don't think Dame Grease did these lyrics justice honestly. Didn't like the joint until I heard the remix.

"Bytches hold their puzzy and bop to the music and think deep to it now who the truest?" :ahh:

Man this isnt some type of super lyrical song. It's a dope uptempo record. In 2020, cardi on this song makes sense. Ofcourse it does nothing for nas legacy overall, but again it would introduce nas to a whole new audience and increase his numbers even more. Yall have to start thinking a little bigger. Is cardi super lyrical no ofcourse not, would she fit this song in 2020 absolutely.

Cardi won’t ever be on a Nas song lol i don’t know why ya’ll pushing this so hard
Zig you my guy but you didnt expect any of the features on Kings Disease either. However, we got them and they came out all dope. Nas did a song with Justin Bieber. Nas isn't against doing features with any artist that his normal fan base would expect. Nas is a global artist.

1). I NEVER called any artist that was featured Wack or terrible. My hang up with the tracklisting was that there had NEVER been a Nas album with that many features and I assumed a Firm reunion in 2020 wasn’t feasible.

2). If Nas’s goal was to get a top ten song then someone like Cardi would’ve already been on it. The song’s already dropped and a video has already been shot (sans any Cardi verse) so what would be the point in adding her now? When Nas hopped on Lil Nas X’s Rodeo it served the dual purpose of being an epic Grammy moment and a video that dropped soon after.

3). Nas worked with Bieber on Bieber’s song for BIEBER’S album. Nobody, CERTAINLY not myself, have ever suggested that Nas shouldn’t work with any artist he damn well pleases. I never said Nas SHOULDN’T work with Cardi. I said she’ll never be on a NAS song and I don’t expect that will change with Spicy. Nas hasn’t really been a “remix” type of guy the last few albums he’s released with the notable exception of the “Where Are They Now” remixes. I know he wanted to put Em and Hov on a Daughters remix but that didn’t end up working out. Besides that Nas doesn’t chase billboard charts. He has NEVER worked with an artist simply for the sake of a hit. All of Nas’s true hit records (If I Ruled The World, Street Dreams, Hate Me Now, One Mic, Made You Look, I Can, etc) were all hits based upon Nas’s innate talent to bring billboard to HIM. His only real “commercial for the sake of commercial” hit was You Owe Me.

You could've said the same about Fivio and Lil Nas X

That was Lil Nas X’s song not Nas’s

I'd rather have Hov on a Spicy remix than Cardi, but I wouldn't mind her on there either. She'd float on that shyt. Plus it would be dope to add it right next to Fivio's verse, so you get some wild he-man woman hater shyt and then Cardi swooping in with some wild fukk nikkas shyt. From a pure fukkery standpoint it would be entertaining.
