Why isn't Spicy a hit?
I know my guy is getting long in the tooth
by Hip-Hop standards but what more does he
have to do? This is a certified banger.
its because Fivio is mediocre. he honestly ruined the track with his moronic rhymes

Need a video for it asap. It would also help of the clubs were open it would smash. It has charted though.
The clubs not being opened is a good point.
I almost wish he held onto it now.
The clubs need to be open for this song to
be maximized. Or less he calls up Cardi B
for the remix lol

Yea I could def see this song being heavy played in strip clubs too. A remix with Cardi would send it to the moon.

Didnt stay on Rap Caviar playlist long enough imo, only like a week. That playlist to me is the most influential in terms of creating a hit last few years.
It being there for just a week is why it got into the Billboard 100 but its not on there anymore. I firmly belive at like 8 million followers on spotify its the most inflientual playlist for streaming in hip hop

I think when you get a song like that and you realizing people catching on that's when you go into heavy promo mode. Sending it to all hip hop radio stations, video etc... then you add a cardi to the remix and it will go to the moon. Nas is nas so it's no way Cardi is turning down a nas feature. Everything is based on streaming numbers the days. Older artist like Nas wont pull in the streams solo, but you add a feature and it will add up.

I mean theres that too. I've always felt like the criticism of him not being able to make hits is unfair because hes had songs on his album that sound like solid radio hits he just didnt push them as singles (You Wont Me See Me Tonight with Aaliyah or Let there be Light for example). This just seems like another example where it got some buzz but he not doing nothing with it

I mean look hes on an indie so theres probably more work to do that but he is Nas and has a good relationship with outlets

Yea he definitely doesnt choose to push the most radio friendly songs on his albums often. You wont see me tonight was guaranteed smash.
