Man. Nas was focused throughout that whole album imo. What u rate Distant Relatives?

I only listened once, years and years ago, I honestly don't even remember what I felt about it. I'm gonna run it back tho probably tomorrow, thank you for reminding me I wanted to listen to this. What's the word on it? Was it good to you/yall?

IMO

Breathe is trash. I respect the creativity of "Project Roach" but I think the song is corny. The shyt with Chris Brown is trash. Hero is ehh, it's so so. We're not alone is aiight, ehh. America is ehh (The original is DOPE tho, with the Bowie sample). I wasn't really crazy about "Black President".

I'm a hard reviewer, rating wise. Last decade or so people have acted like stuff is either classic or trash, to the point that saying something is "good" or even "great" can be seen as a diss. You see this whenever the big newer rappers like Drake/Kendrick/Cole/etc drop.

but Nas and Mega aren't getting enough credit on
how good their 2 verses were.. I just randomly read the lyrics

U ain’t even fukk with Black President? That shyt is a banger and Nas bodied it. U ain’t like BREATHE????? Project Roach was dope to me. Even if u feel the concept is corny. Beat and lyrics was dope. I had it on repeat when it came out.
