Nasir gets unfairly hated on because of the sloppy release process.

3/7 fires ass songs
1. Kids shot the kid
2. bonjour
3. Adam and Eve

The rest ranges from above average to average.

Nas gets graded on a curve.

White Label hit too:yeshrug:

EP recorded in less than a week having expectations that high don't make sense but like you said he's held to a different standard. Push spent months on Daytona but nobody mentions that.

I feel like because its a indepenent release it might not get recognized

They'll probably throw it to Eminem per usual

Eminem doesn't fukk with the Grammys and he wasn't even nominated last year for Kamikaze, so Nas has a shot.

Besides, Macklemore was independent and he won four awards in 2014.

Off two spins a 8/8.5/10

New Nas is always good, relatively a quick project too.

Only issue I had was I wanted it to be more hard, the beats are light and airy. It's like Nas made "its a vibe" type music, although it is contemporary and not dated. Rapping is strong, but I feel like Hit-Boy shouldn't have EP it.

It just hit me that now that Nas is 100% On Mass Appeal and OWNS Mass Appeal that he now owns his Masters. I’m guessing this will at the very LEAST assist in him releasing music more frequently. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get some type of Nas project, if not full albums maybe EP’s and collab projects more frequently.

Shoutout to Nas for getting his very OWN Motown:salute:

Nas aint really speak on it but did he own his masters ? and I mean the early albums ?

He needs to make a video for Spicy and Replace Me within the next month to keep sales strong, these two tunes have the potential to be his biggest songs in over a decade, but he needs to drop the video.

I feel Nas has dropped the ball in the past in making the right videos for the right songs and his single releases in general, You Wouldn't Understand or Stay for example should have had a video on Life is Good, Ultra Black is a good first single but if i was to release a run, i would drop Spicy next, then Replace Me, then All Bad and finally do a remix for 27 Summers ft Jay-Z(if he can).

Car 85 definitely needs a video.
