Dudes on here really not feeling the beat? Sound like a mid 90s sample but with trap drums, fit the track on a conceptual level

I don't like trap nor trap drums. The sample isn't anything special. Put those things together and you've got a song that isn't for me.

They probably thought that beat was something 21 could rock with on some "'meet him halfway" shyt but I think that's lazy. Just because an artist is from the south it doesn't mean you gotta reach for the trap drum kit. Wayne has had some dope features recently with Tyler and Griselda mainly because he was rapping over beats you don't typically hear him on. 2 Chainz has done the same. This could've been more exciting if they had 21 over some east coast production and got him out of his comfort zone. The direction they took just feels uninspired and the song doesn't have much replay value.
