Well, they explained the power jump, sort of, but I'm still feeling a bit dubious about that (ALL that power in a year? Only works if he's still fused with Zetsu, and there was no indication of that when he faced Minato).
What really needs to be elaborated upon more is the attitude change, because even after all of that, Obito doesn't seem like someone who'd just threaten the life of a newborn off the cuff like he did. That just seems like too big of a jump for me at this point and time.

Really mixed feelings about this chapter
Liked:
- Finally explained Nagato, and how to get the Rinnegan
- Confirmed what the Gedo Mazo statue is
- Explained Madara's plan a little better
- No unnecessary flashbacks
Disliked:
- I was REALLY hoping Obito had a better motive other than angst over Rin, SMH
- Still didn't explain why Kakashi stabbed her
- No mention of Obito vs. Minato at all

he was trying to steal the 9 tails...but it explains why he bounced so fast...he knew he had no chance...and didn't want to keep getting raseganed upside his headmy only thing is Minato should of known that it was obito...or at least a feeling that he knew him from somewhere...

if itachi didn't know then I wouldn't exact the 4th to know since itachi has the eyes himself. I think the zetsu charaka threw them off

What was his family doing in the Rain Village?
Now the Rinnegan is a upgraded level of the Sharigan? Where does this leave the Bykaugan? The Sharigan was suppose to be a descendant of that.

Wait so Nagato is part of the Senju clan like the 1st Hokage & Tsunade
Nah, Nagato was a member of the Uzumaki Clan. And if you remember, they mentioned that the Uzumaki Clan were distant relatives of the Senju Clan. Their village got destroyed so they ended up scattered around everywhere.
That's why Karin, Kushina, Nagato, Naruto, etc. were all in different places.
That makes sense regarding the Uzumaki clan, but in the last chapter Zetsu said Nagato was of the Senju bloodline
