Kishi shouldn't have spent this whole manga saying war is hell and have every single jounin losing everybody they love to it then not having anyone younger losing anyone of significance other than J-man and he died BEFORE the war started. Honestly, the chapter was ok, I'm curious about what happened to Obito. And I'm glad Madara finally showed up, it looks like shyt is about to pick up.

My main complaint is that half the chapter was flashbacks of something we already know about.

Probably because Madara will be wondering why he isn't following the plan. Tobi was supposed to have Nagato revive Madara but it looks like he tried to throw Madara in the bushes and carry out the plan himself.

I'm just wondering what happened to the Kages. Did Madara kill any of them or did he just leave? Or are the Kages on the way to the battlefield?

If the Kages and the rest of the rookies are on the way, then pretty much everybody will be there.
