It's been obvious it was Obito for the longest and now ya'll outraged? at this point it's better to go with Obito and make up some bs rather than introduce a new character or some random background character who wouldn't make any type of emotional impact. all of the issues you guy are having with him not being strong enough to go toe to toe with the fourth can be easily written away with any stupid reason Kishi chooses, and you know Kishi ain't got no problems writing away plot holes with dumb shyt

There is a picture of the Hokage monument at the time right before Kakashi became a Jounin. Notice, no 4th Hokage. So how could his picture be there in this latest chapter before Kakashi became a Chuunin but not there when he became a Jounin?

I agree. Especially if you take the mask designs into consideration. Kishi doesn't necessarily draw all of his characters differently when it comes to hair. (Pain/ Yahiko, Naruto, Minato, Anbu guy talking to Sai from a while back, Shikamaru, Iruka etc)

Basically dude made a mistake and also a mistake on the editors part also. Them Shonen jump dudes should have caught that.

Kishi has other artists that work on the manga with him. So I'd rather blame one of them for that mistake but it was up to Kishi to catch it.

that's a HUGE mistake to miss, but the fact when he fought the 4th he didn't know what he was about makes it

Killa B was able to see thru his movements w/o being a student, you'd think his student would know his weakness...but instead he gets rasenganed and says I see this is why they made you Hokage and runs away...

Don't matter...things work differently in Japan than here. He still answers to Shonen Jump editors and everything goes through them, including quality control. Oda outsells Twilight and Harry Potter but he still can't create a character and introduce it in OP without getting their approval first.
