When Tobi phases from tangible to intangible, his body goes to that pocket dimension that has been shown in the past chapters to be the place that he sends everything that gets warped into his eye. When Kakashi uses Kamui on something(for instance, the nail that Pain sent flying towards his head, or Deidara's arm), it also goes to that same dimension.

Kakashi used Kamui on Naruto's rasengen at the same time that Tobi went intangible, the Rasengan ended up hitting him inside of the pocket dimension

If I'm not mistaken, Kakashi tore off Deidara's arm with Kamui during the Rescue Gaara saga at the beginning of Part 2. Tobi was the one to find his arm

This pretty much confirms that he is Obito and it's his eye that Kakashi was able to use to hurt him. Takes him to the same dimension and everything.

How is he any different other than a rinnegan he can't use cause the bodies are gone? Just admit Minato put hands on dude and it wouldn't be any different now. All Minato had was one kunai meanwhile Naruto got fox mode, Kakashi got a sharingan and Gai throwning nunchuks PLUS Bee back there in bull mode and all they did was chip his mask and burn his arm head to head. Can you imagine how simple a fight it'd be if he KNEW a war was coming like everyone else did? It'd be a blood bath.
