yeah they did...Kakashi with Raikiri and Obito with a random shuriken.
It's probably a genjutsu though since it'd be damn near criminal to have a fight like that end off panel.

So everything that happened in the last 20 or so chapters has been irrelevant.

Tsunade uses some jutsu to make herself "look" like she's still in her 20s or 30s, but her healing jutsu actually causes her to age faster than she would naturally. I think the explanation was that Tsunade heals herself by causing her cells to divide more rapidly, but since cells can only divide so many times in a lifespan, it actually ages her body.
So whenever she can't maintain that jutsu she uses to make herself look young (if she's out of chakra or cut in half, for example) her appearance reflects the fact that her healing techniques aged her even more than her real age.
Anyway, it's pretty obvious IMO that Tsunade or Sakura will just heal Kakashi. No way he dies.
