The comments under that joke tweet make me said. One dude turned into a anti-religious conversation, another told Joe if he can't rise about hatred then he's a sad person and doesn't realize the power he has. I guess being on TV excuses you from human emotion according to that fella:francis:

I wanted to be a comedian growing up but never pursued it and I realized it was because I didn't like people. I didn't fear what they would say, I was fearsome of what I would do:francis:

As much as I'd love to try to entertain people, I don't think that's my calling in life. Maybe i'm running from it:yeshrug:

My bad for hijacking this thread just to say one thing.... people suck

People shouldn't dictate your dreams. Follow your heart and just go for it. The worst thing you could endure besides a name call is regret. Words can easily be slept on, but a chance is once in a lifetime. Don't let your fears stop you from pursuing your purpose in life. Even if it don't work out, the only thing that matters is that you achieve your goal. Hell, I went through hell last year with so much stuff going on in my life and the only thing that mattered was the fact that a few people bought my beat tapes. I'm not a "super producer" or "beat extraordinaire", but the fact that somebody checked my shyt to the point of just giving me a dollar for it meant the world to me. Bottom line, live for yourself and do what makes you happy.

The sad thing is that it's going to continue to happen unless the promotions start to get over the past stigma of stereotypes=profit. This industry is in dire need to get over this bullshyt that's been going on since Lou Thez did his first backdrop. Until that happens, the game is the game. God forbid a minority wrestler would get up and check their twitter without having to comb through the constant "n"words, "jokes" and other knuckle dragging "comments" these neckbeards produce because in reality they are as empty as the tweets they drop:francis:.

What do you think about Nakamura's new catchphrase "Me no speak english". We all know he can, but the writers have thought of him blatantly using a stereotype to troll people. And what do you know, it's getting over (great heel work guys), because neckbeard fans relate to the stereotype. It's a drastically less severe example of what you are taking about, but still a current and obvious on-tv example.

its funny seeing how MMA has lapped pro wrestling in terms of diversity.

I think a lot of these black MMA guys wanted to be either wrestlers or boxers. but they don't want those lingering effects from boxing. and you already called it with the wrestling.

Excuse my ignorance but how does MMA have less effects? Is it because of the ground game and grappling part because I've seen dudes have stand up fights and throw bombs at each other in MMA.

^i would imagine because in mma, you go less rounds than in boxing. And MAYBE because MMA fights end sooner and its not 10-12 wars.

Just guessing

I think it’s something physiologically. I don’t know all the technical terms, but boxing is more dangerous cause you’re really not supposed be shaking yourself off and getting back up after getting clocked, compared to MMA where you’re clocked and the ref jumps in and stops the fight. MMA is a lot safer in that way for the brain. If you notice, long time MMA fighters after their careers are over don’t have the same problems as boxers. I’d take cauliflower ears over being a living zombie any day

boxing is more brutal, to the head at least.

altho I'm sure theres more effects of MMA fighting that we don't know about yet, seeing how the sport isn't that old.

I have never heard a Black dude on here say anything negative about Naomi.

We are almost universal in our admiration for her.

I do agree with this, but that wasn’t your original post. You said Naomi was the most stanned person on here, which is false. For some reason, it seems to be Charlotte and Alexa
