Unless it's out of bounds racist, sexual, or vulgar taunting, fans booing and heckling are a part of spectator sports. She's too fragile right now to be competing.

Serena got heckled at this same venue, won, then cried for TWO HOURS after winning instead of celebrating.

Then avoided the venue for like eight years.
