not to downplay her struggles :hubie: but crumbling because of heckling. When you grow up hearing "yo mama" jokes and getting roasted all day in high school :blessed::blessed: certain things you kinda eat them like scooby snacks or come back with equal or more vengeance:demonic:

Instead of defending and supporting her you are defending and supporting the heckler. She's not there for mamma jokes, she there for tennis on a professional level and the crowd is not some rowdy folks, but folks with decorum.

You just told us you haven't exceeded high school level. Tell, what age are you?

It's strange that the two japanese black mix high profile athletes ( Rui and Naomi) are having breakdowns right around the time their country held Olympics.
I think they are dealing with the same issues or people.
Both identify as Black, with admixture.

nikkas just post and say anything these days.

"Five Florida middle school students were charged with hate crimes after allegedly attacking a group of children while exclaiming “brown power!” — an incident police are calling a racially motivated crime.

The five juveniles, who were in sixth to eighth grade at Lyons Creek Middle School, were arrested on charges of battery and evidence of prejudice while committing a battery, a third-degree felony. In Florida, evidencing prejudice while committing an offense is considered a hate crime."

"5 Florida children charged in middle school race attacks Coconut Creek police say 4 white children were assaulted

Five Florida middle schoolers are facing battery and hate crime charges after police say they attacked white students using racial taunts and slurs.

Coconut Creek police said four white children 11 to 12 years old were assaulted Wednesday by the group that yelled things like “it’s opposite day” and “brown power” while punching and kicking them.

The attacks happened at a community center where children gather before the first bell at Lyons Creek Middle School, according to police reports.

"This is an extremely rare occurrence in our community. But these are children, and as such, poor judgment can occur,” Coconut Creek Police Chief Butch Arenal said in a statement.

The five children arrested are 11 to 15 years old. Police reports list them as both Black and white, most with Hispanic surnames.

The charges are misdemeanors although the hate crime allegation could trigger a felony count depending on decisions by prosecutors."

come on now.. you are going to tell me being "soft" isn't considered to be a feminine trait?

And since when did crying when a negative result occurs in your life makes you not mentally well?

In the English language words have different context. When men say they want soft women I doubt they want someone who cries all the time. She's a cry baby. And she cries all the time even when things go well. But maybe that is normal to you.

Nadal didn't cry after that though, he laughed and enjoyed it.
He’s also a grown man. She’s younger and appears so used to winning that she can’t emotionally correct herself after a loss. She also removes herself from difficult situations so she doesn’t learn how to process through it.

And she's a grown woman, 24 years old, been doing this for years now. :aicmon: If she still can't handle it, she should walk away from the sport like her older sister did.

Eh he’s 36. I wouldn’t say someone in their 20’s has as much emotional control, but you’re right overall.

When she was coming up she got hands-off, just-be-you, media training. Her personality helped build a brand that made her the most famous female tennis player in the world aside from the Williams sisters. But no one taught her how to handle a rough patch, and when it inevitably happened she cratered.

The same thing happened to Capriati. When she was coming up her handlers just let her be and didn't shield her. When the inevitable rough patch she lashed out. Of course Capriati had run-ins with the law while Naomi is dealing with mental health issues. Also Capriati came back to tennis and won 3 Slams while tennis is the reason for Naomi's breakdowns.

Osaka's taken 2 breaks in the last 12 months so I don't think another one is gonna solve anything. She's too successful off the court now to commit fully to the tennis grind. I think doing something else would be healthy to her.
